ARTIST PROFILE

My name is Karen Nam, and I’m a fine artist from Los Angeles, California. My concentration is in drawing and painting with a focus on watercolor and oil painting. I enjoy working with a variety of subjects, but portraits are my favorite to work with. I am interested in the usage of colors and different materials in my work, and that exploration is a foundation of my art. My inspiration comes from music, movies, books, and nature. I started drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, and I’ve dedicated myself to improving my work and exploring the possibilities of art.
